The THEMES EDUCATION MAGAZINES (Themes Media) established in 1998 by an independent group of directors interested in raising the profile of education throughout Victoria. The magazines were developed as a direct result of feedback from the schools wanting an education specific platform.

Themes Media became a division of Star News Group in 2006. Star News Group has been within the Thomas family for over 100 years and successfully publishes a number of newspapers and magazines throughout Victoria.
